You will be doing a slide focusing on an important person from Ancient Greece.  It can be a philosopher, scientist, artist, etc.  You will need to design the slide yourself.  I have included some videos below in case you need help with creating text boxes, inserting pictures, etc.  You will need to include the following on your slide.  (1 Slide Only Please!)


* Title- Person's Name
* Your Name 
* Make sure you put your name and the name of the person in the title found at the top of the slide as well.  You will see where I tell you to insert that information in parenthesis.  
*Time period they were alive for
* What were/are they famous for with details and examples
* A Picture
* Any other important information or interesting facts (Like where they lived, how old they were, is anything named after them, etc.)
* A BIBLIOGRAPHY Box- See note below

This week, you will take the information from last week that you researched about your Greek God or Goddess, and write the information into a presentation slide posted below.  Even if you worked with a partner, you must each have your own slides completed and turned in.  These slides will count as a project grade for both ELA and Social Studies, so it's SUPER important you get them done and do a good job!  This presentation will be due next Monday, May 3rd.  We will go over the slides and I will give further directions during class today at 11:00 am.

4. Click start button in blue and complete the lesson 1 ONLY reading and questions that go along with the lesson 1. ( you do not have to complete the enrichment, but everything else for lesson 1 yes).

5. You have 5 days to complete this ebook assignment reading and questions. You can start one day and return back another. It will save your work. (If you choose to complete the entire lesson 1 not in 1 sitting/day, each time you enter you just hit continue rather than start). The entire lesson 1 is due Tuesday 12/15/20 at 11 am.

I attached a reminder of what a paragraph should have and how to create a paragraph. Make sure you follow the checklist on the slides.

Also, make sure your pictures in your diagram, relate to your writing specifically. NO generic pictures of each topic. For achievement, I shouldn't see a medal or the word achievement, but maybe a picture of what you achieved like I put a teacher picture as my achievement that was in my writing .
